The Bucknell women’s squash team is coming off of their most successful season in school history, and is hoping to further advance in 2016-17. After last year’s 5-4 loss to Georgetown in the finals of their division at the National Championships at Yale University, the team has their sights set on a tournament win this year. After graduating four players last year, and with no seniors and two of three juniors abroad, the team is made up of 13 young, determined players.

The team currently holds a record of 5-1, and is looking forward to a rematch against Georgetown on February 5th, 2017. The team has seen wins against Boston University, Fordham, Washington University in St. Louis, Denison, and Rochester, and is hoping to continue their streak in the next month against Georgetown, Boston College, and Haverford College. The team has a goal of winning the E division or moving up to the D division at this year’s National Championships at Princeton University from February 24-26, 2017.
